About This Opportunity

Established in 1977, our prestigious Annual Awards are a celebration of excellence in design and construction in Concrete.

Adjudicated by independent and distinguished juries of construction industry professionals, our Awards acknowledge construction achievements in which concrete, in any form, contributes significantly to the built environment.

**The 43rd Annual Awards** will take place on the **19th of March 2026** in **the Johnstown Estate, Enfield, Co. Meath.**

  • **Important Deadlines (for each of the three categories):** * Main Award Categories Closing Date – Friday 28th of November 2025 * Sean de Courcy Student Award – Friday 5th of December 2025 * International Award Closing Date – Friday 9th of January 2026 Entries must include a description of the work, method of construction, reason for the nomination and 6 high quality digital photographs (150 dpi, jpg). Any entry omitting these may not be accepted by the jury. Completed forms to be submitted by email. Please use ‘Concrete Sculpture Award Entry’ in the subject line.

**Main Award**: The main awards recognise the contribution made by concrete to any aspect of building, civil engineering, architecture, art or landscaping. Entries are divided into three categories: Building, Infrastructure and Element (housing or small projects such as walls, stairs, or paving). **International Award**: Established in 2012, this award recognises Irish companies who export technical excellence in concrete. Projects must be located outside the island of Ireland and have been designed/delivered by an Irish company or include a concrete product manufactured in Ireland. **Student Award**: This award commemorates an inspirational educator, the late Professor Séan de Courcy, by acknowledging high achievement of third level students in civil engineering/construction. **To be eligible for entry to the competition, the work must be:** 1. An original piece of work by the artist(s). 2. Located in Ireland (either publicly or privately). 3. Completed after the 31st of July 2023. 4. Made available to be viewed by the jury, if required.
