Other Requirements
The theme of this edition is Fugology, a term borrowed from the artist Erwan Souhmi, who developed a process-based work around this concept during the 2013 edition. Invoking Fugology, a highly topical neologism, means evoking both the alternatives needed in the face of climate change and the cognitive biases that prevent us from considering an increasingly obvious reality: the unliveability of our environment in the short term. Applications can be in the areas of: real time, performance studies, sound art, video performance, poetry, re-enactment, improvisation, dance, culinary art, sound poetry, environment, document, cross-media, statement, urban intervention, augmented and virtual reality, virtual performances.
